To help drive the crave for KFC's new spicy popcorn zinger chicken bites, we created a drive-by challenge showing what fans were willing to do to get their hands on some. Recruiting grime legend D Double E to hand out KFC buckets to 'random' passersby capable of performing raps that matched the 'heat' of KFC's newest menu item.
D Double E kicked things off, teasing the stunt on Instagram "🍗🔥🌶😎"
After posting the hero video across Facebook and Instagram the next day... we turned up the heat on Instagram Stories, inviting fans to rate each performance.
My role: Creative Director for the project providing guidance to the Creative and Production teams, overseeing the storyboards and managing the edits. The hero film went on to achieve 1.2m views on Facebook alone.
